Around two thirds of health and safety practitioners now have environmental management as part of their overall day-to-day responsibilities.
If you are one of them, the knowledge and understanding gained from completing the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management will help! It’s a qualification that:
- Covers the practical issues of managing environmental risk
- Focuses on environmental management systems and impact assessments
- Takes a risk management approach
- Is recognised globally by professional bodies and employers
- Is based around best practice and international industry standards.
You don’t need to have studied environmental management previously to take this qualification. It’s open to everyone. Our latest survey showed that 98% of students would recommend this qualification to others. This level of approval suggests that the qualification delivered what the students had hoped for.
From 13 June, students who hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management, and whose result was declared from June 2013 onwards, are eligible for Associate Membership of IEMA. This means that they can:
- access a wide range of membership benefits
- get professional recognition with the AIEMA designatory letters.
