Anne Woolridge

Anne is the Chief Operating Officer of Independent Safety Services Limited and Peak HSE and is well-known in the field of healthcare waste management, nationally and internationally. She has a wealth of research and practical experience of healthcare waste management and waste treatment processes at all levels. She is a practicing dangerous goods safety advisor and waste consultant as well as advising on waste strategy and policy. When not on client sites Anne is actively involved with a number of national and international strategic committees.
She is a Chartered Waste Manager, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and recognised by ISWA as an International Waste Manager.
Paul Teasdale
Chairman/ Financial Director

Paul is a chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience both in private practice and in the Safety Consultancy business including 10 years with Hinton & Higgs Ltd before and after its sale to Willis Caroon.

After completing an engineering apprenticeship with Leyland Trucks and several years in diesel engineering both in the U.K. and overseas, Alan joined the Road Transport Industry Training Board, he has over 25 years experience in Health and Safety and specialises in Transportation issues. Alan was also a Director of Hinton and Higgs.
David Humphreys
Director

Accreditations: CMIOSH, AIEMA
David is an experienced Health and Safety professional with over 20 years experience as a health and safety practitioner, including teaching NEBOSH Diploma and Certificate.
David has a broad range of health, safety and risk management skills and supports many of Peak HSE clients to develop and improve their culture and the management of health and safety.
His expertise is in providing practical solutions for management system implementation, for example ISO 45001; or delivering Client bespoke systems.
He works closely with many of our larger clients, with a mentoring service for their in house Health and Safety Teams, including auditing, training and maintaining legal registers.
Dan Hewitt
Health and Safety Consultant

Dan is an experienced Health and Safety professional with over 10 years of experience as a health and safety practitioner.
After 7 years of managing health and safety within an industrial setting, Dan moved into consultancy where he has assisted clients with the development, implementation and management of bespoke health and safety arrangements for a wide range of sectors including – steel fabrication, oil and chemical production, construction, education, health care, engineering, retail, food production and the automotive sector.
Dan has a broad range of health and safety skills which enable him to advise, support and mentor clients on practical solutions to assist with the improvement or implementation of effective health and safety arrangements and management systems in line with industry best practice and established management standards such as ISO 45001.
Petra Stapp
Senior Environmental Consultant

Accreditations: BA(Hons), MA, LLM, ISO14001 Lead Auditor, APCIP, PIEMA, DGSA
Petra is an experienced environmental professional, with wide experience in environmental compliance and management systems and investigative practice. She has worked within a range of sectors, including waste, facilities management and enforcement, dealing with operational issues, as well as legal and policy affairs. Petra has extensive experience in auditing for compliance with legal obligations and conformance standards.
As an experienced trainer, Petra has trained all levels of learners on subjects that include legal processes, enforcement, systems management, including Competence Management Systems, auditing and permit awareness. She is equally at home on an operational site, as in the classroom environment.
Christine Phelan
Office Manager

Christine is our office manager who provides help and support to our clients and the inhouse team.
If you call us, you are likely to speak with Christine first.
She has worked in the business since we started and understands the consultancy and training portfolio. Also dealing with invoicing and related queries.
Previously, she worked with the Management Team at a Logistics company. She also worked for EEF Sheffield (now Make UK) for over 19 years as PA for three consecutive Chief Executives.
Lyndsay Jackson
Training Manager

Lyndsay has over twenty years of customer service experience working in the training and events industry. Prior to joining Peak HSE in 2021 she worked for a venue finder providing administrative support to corporate events for a number of years. Prior to that she was the Training and Events Manager at EEF Sheffield (now Make UK) supporting the HSE and HR training delivery teams.
